Monster's Ball review

Man on Wire review

The documentary is creativily modeled after heist films but is not as immersive as it could have been. Because of the subject matter the film doesn't turns boring, and there are some good moments in the interview to Petit.

Female Yakuza Tale: Inquisition and Torture review

There is not so much sex as in its prequel Sex And Fury, and there's not Christina Lindberg, but there's a lot of entertainment and some imaginative shots.

Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS review

This movie is not completely a sexploitation film. In modern terms seems more like a gorn movie. The plot is not boring (at least not so much as a lot of real sexploitation movies) but what really stands out is the iconic performance of Dyanne Thorne as Ilsa.

Darklands review

It isn't a bad album but doesn't have the intensity of Psychocandy.

Funny People review

This film doesn't feel long but it isn't absorbing either. Apatow reunites a good cast, a good staff, a honest story and is obvious that this movie is special for him but something just doesn't work, the world of this movie seems real but no alive.

The 40-Year-Old Virgin review

One of the best comedies of its decade. Steve Carrell plays Andy Stitzer in the perfect tune, and the rest of the cast, specially Paul Rudd y Seth Rogen, shows great comedy skills. The work of Judd Apatow is also good, effectively mixing the most crude and the most perceptive of the film.

Supervixens review

Supervixens is imaginative, funny, intense, erotic, surreal, interesting, cartoonish, violent and like many independent movies it has a lot of his director's soul. The performances of Shari Eubank, Charles Pitts and specially Charles Napier are solid. Uschi Digar have a great appearance in the movie and, like a extra, this is the only movie of Christy Hartburg, the iconic of the film's poster.

Vixen! review

A classic of Russ Meyer and a classic of sexploitation. Vixen! now feels old but it has low-budget charm and definitely is not boring.
